Advanced Bionics LLC, a subsidiary of Swiss listed Sonova Holdings AG and a leading developer of cochlear implant systems, is seeking an experienced attorney with 5+ years of relevant medical device or life sciences industry experience including being an in-house legal partner to a diverse and widely spread sales and marketing organization. This position reports to the General Counsel, Medical / Advanced Bionics based nearby Zurich, Switzerland.
This position will provide legal support to all of Advanced Bionics LLC operations in the US and Canada. Its focus will be the overall support of the development, commercialization and business interests of Advanced Bionic. This position will partner with the regional VP of Sales and VP of Regulatory and Clinical to aid in contracting, compliance, and reimbursement matters for Class 3 medical devices.
Basic Qualifications and Work Experience
J.D. from an accredited law school;
A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably including in-house experience in the medical device or broader life sciences industry;
Good working knowledge of US federal and state laws applicable to the commercialization of medical devices or other regulated products such as pharmaceuticals;
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
Experience working for a North American-based, but international company and across a matrixed organization
