legal question I am starting a business where I clip popular songs so there are no lyrics, and selling a subscription on patreon to gymnastics gyms owners, so their athletes can use it for their competition floor music. I am wondering if I will cross any boundaries on legal infringment copyright laws. The plan is to call it a parody on girls gymnastics floor routine music, because theyve been outdated and old fashioned for years. These gym owners are often caught spending upwards of $50 for floor routine music, or turning to youtube for generic over used songs. However on my patreon they can pay a low fee between $10-$15 for a subscription where I, as a former elite athlete in the sport can offer my views on what a gymnast would rather hear while they compete.
