Job Description

Imagine a career where your creativity can inspire a Fortune 100 company’s transformation into a data-centric business.  Intel Corporation is seeking an experienced attorney to join our legal team as a Senior Counsel, Performance Analysis Legal.  The candidate must enjoy working with smart people, excel at finding creative solutions to difficult problems, and have an interest in technology.  

In this position, you will partner closely with Intel’s performance analysis and benchmarking teams across Intel and its senior legal team and counsel them on a range of legal issues, including marketing, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and antitrust. 

Performance analysis and benchmarking are at the centre of Intel’s growth strategy.  These functions support a range of activities throughout the entire product life cycle--from research & development to product marketing and sales enablement--and they raise interesting issues (both familiar and novel) for business and legal consideration and action.    



Qualifications
 

Minimum qualifications:

  • A JD degree and a state bar membership (preferably in Oregon or California),
  • 7+ years of relevant legal experience in marketing, intellectual property, and antitrust law.

In addition, you should have:

  • Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills;
  • Strong drafting and legal writing skills;
  • Excellent legal and business judgment;
  • Ability to communicate clear, concise and practical legal advice;
  • Desire to learn from senior Intel business lawyers and develop new skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in teams of lawyers and non-legal professionals; and
  • Talent for managing competing priorities.
