Paralegal will report to the Managing Counsel and will provide support to the legal team. This role has the opportunity to be a visible resource to business partners and legal colleagues. Tasks will include monitoring and tracking regulatory reports, providing support on projects, managing and tracking collections of company property, coordinating with corporate secretarial for director and officer requirements, and performing legal research.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5 plus years as a paralegal in a fast-paced environment with an ability to work independently.
· Project management and power point skills.
· Ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
· Knowledge of the insurance industry, customs and practices.
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic business environment.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Execution oriented.
· Strong communication skills.
· Detail-oriented, organized, responsive and deadline-driven.
· Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of high priority projects simultaneously.
· Bilingual – Reading and Writing (English / Spanish).
